I'm a little weird about matching. I actually really don't like it. At all. I think the phobia stems from a fear of looking like one particular woman who used to work at my local Kroger. She always matched, and she frequently had a theme to her outfits as well. A purple shirt with purple flowers, purple flower earrings, a purple scrunchie, purple eye-makeup, purple shoes, purple nails, purplepurplepurple! It was horrible. And my fear only increased after I became a teacher. I've seen one too many grown women wearing holiday-themed outfits better suited to kindergarten classrooms than the real world. Extreme matching just seems so old-fashioned; I feel as if I'm dressed as a caricature of an old-woman.
The perfect match of this sweater vest to my skirt and blouse made me a little nervous today. I got this sweater vest at The Limited over the weekend for $10! I only realized how perfectly it matched my other The Limited pieces when I got it home. I couldn't resist how pulled together the whole look felt. I think I avoided looking too perfectly matched by choosing neutral shoes and my leopard watch, or at least I hope I did.
What do you think? Is this outfit too matched?
Outfit Details: The Limited top, sweater vest, & skirt; Seychelles wedges; Timex watch

Not too matched at all...you have pattern and other color thrown in there to break it up...I think it's an adorable look!
